We had a different Air Conditioning company come out to our home to provide a $49 Tune-up Service on our central air conditioning system. Our system is old but running efficiently and we just wanted the coils checked, cleaned and the drain lines flushed. However, when the technician was finished, our system no longer worked and, all of a sudden, we were looking at spending a LOT of $$$ to replace it! To add insult to injury, he still charged me $49 for the “tune-up.”
My husband wanted a second opinion so he called a contractor friend of ours for a recommendation. Our friend recommended LEGACY Heating & Air. Daniel, from LEGACY called right away and had Travis come by our home that afternoon. Travis was able to diagnose the problem in just a few minutes. It was an oversight by the previous technician that caused a short that burned out the circuit board and motor. With this information, I was able to call the other company’s Service manager to file a complaint. The company sent out a technician to replace all the parts that were damaged and now our system is working again! LEGACY and Travis saved the day! While LEGACY did not actually work on our system that day, we are so thankful for their promptness, knowledge and courtesy. We know our system is old and will need to be replaced in the next few years and we will certainly call LEGACY for a bid on a new system! Highly recommend these folks!

I need to replace my A/C with a new system. After getting some bids around the San Marcos area I called Legacy. Chad got on the phone and and gave me a ball park quote. Later that day Travis came by and I expressed my concerns with air flow coming out of the registers in certain bedrooms. Travis said they could fix all that with new ducts with a greater diameter. The crew showed up Tuesday morning ready to go. Everyone was professional, courteous and knowledgeable. Work was completed in about 7 hrs. I was so impressed that I bought pizza for lunch for everybody. All registers in the home now have good air flow and I have a working modern new A/C ! I would highly recommend Legacy Heating and Air.

Great care and Customer Service. Travis was our Tech and he was very helpful and accommodating! Travis went above and beyond to help us with some issues with AC Blower motor and Home Warranty. We signed up for the yearly service and look forward to having them by our side for all of our heating and cooling needs!

I manage a small office building, my recent experience with Legacy Heating & A/C was wonderful from start to finish. Someone showed up promptly to give me a bid, which was best out of 4 bids I collected, and he really seemed to know his job; they were able to install on a Sunday, so my tenants were not disturbed and their work week not interrupted; the installation team was prompt, courteous, very professional, and cleaned up after their work was done. The invoice came to me via email a couple of days later in the exact amount I was quoted, and the office person even sent in all the warranty registrations for me. I would certainly recommend Legacy!
